Thoroughly shaken and visibly concerned - were the emotions I was going through today morning as I was going through the morning newspaper sipping my tea as my father had pointed me to a news, "Do as your wife says: SC". As I conquered my curiosity, flipping through the article devouring my breakfast, I was awed with shock and disbelief as to how come such an irresponsible statement is made by a person sitting at the highest court of India.

Do not apply your brains; just do as your wife says. So men, understand what is being told about you, by your own fellow men. They are saying that men are not capable of being on their own and hence they should listen to their wives and do it as well even if it does not make sense to them.

There is a saying in Hindi which says, "Buddha sathiya gaya hain", which translates to, "The old person has lost his senses in his sixties." Looks like the saying has just personified itself on Markenday Katju when he advises men that if they want to be happy they have to listen to their wives even if they utter bullshit and he cited his own example.

While the statement is dangerous for men, the women are just going to love the statement as they can now tell their husband, "Listen to me or face the legal consequences," as this is what the Supreme Court says.

So now the wives have a legal sanction to enslave their husbands, abuse them at will, falsify abuse against them, treat them as FREE ATM MACHINES, make them slog like a dog and rule the world which is otherwise a so called MALE DOMINATED WORLD.

I would call this as true women empowered. Empowering an entire clan to enslave the opposite clan is nothing less than True Empowerment. Congratulations to the Women Empowerment Brigade for an unexpected victory.

But there is good news as well. The family court system in India just got better. Now there is no need to take the family feud to the court as there is a judge in every house in the form of a wife. Anyways, marriage had been a crime for men and now expecting justice is the new entrant to the kitty of assumed crimes for men.

So are the Indian wives listening? Go ahead and enslave your husband, as it is your legal right now.
