Although this article touches upon the problems/issues that men are facing today (and yet; despite awareness by Protector and a Provider to Men because of their inherent inclination to withhold structures whereas women do not cling to structures inherently; rather they are more liberal at core (more open to changes). The traditional shift in gender roles that has happened has brought in a drastic change for women but men have stayed where they were.

Women have moved to 22nd century whereas men have stayed back in 16th century. This is again because Conservatives are thoroughly incompetent in controlling women and vent this frustration by controlling men. And since Conservatives have created a pseudo social meme of it being a Man's World, now it has become extremely difficult for men to break the shackle and bring forth their issues in a big way, the way the 70s and 80s had seen a wave for women's rights.

It is not that problems have suddenly descended upon today's men. No change happens overnight. Rome was not built and cannot be built in a single day. Both men and women have had their share of problems in both mutually exclusive and mutually inclusive domains, however, women's problems got a priority and were brought forth some 40 years ago but men's problems have never been brought to forth. As a result of unequal treatment and bias against men, men have remained in the 16th century mindset whereas women have moved to 22nd century.

Again, one more reason of women's problem getting priority was not only the fact that there are more men at top - who knew that in order to remain at top, other men's problems will have to take a backseat and women's problems must be given priority - but also my argument in Women are Wonderful.

As a result today we see, women have absolutely no qualms in either being abusive, aggressive or breaking relationships or unleash male hatred openly. In fact, these activities are viewed as signs of Women Empowerment (I completely fail to understand, how). And men are simply watching the drama (confused, fearsome and wary), not knowing how to save themselves. Men have become a victim of the cultural war between Conservatives and Liberals and it is time men realize the need to fight back. Again it is a choice for them; they are anyway paying the price.

Sneak A Peek

Men’s Rights – Perspiration or Inspiration?

As I think about the today's theme - it reminds me of Thomas Edison, the man who invented the electric bulb. He had made a famous statement "Things are 99% perspiration, 1% inspiration"

Same applies to men's rights movement as well. It is a matter of constant awareness campaign and hitting at our opponents and proponents of male abuse. Contrary to popular belief, it is 3 times easier to abuse a male than a female because males have no support structure and male abuse is accepted by the society as social service.

Follow Yourself; Not Tradition

As I have repeatedly mentioned in my articles that cultures have deceived men, acting as vultures. Men have been used as the FREE ATM MACHINE, the UNPAID BODYGUARD, the de-facto PROTECTOR and PROVIDER, etc. by cultures and in the process have been reduced to disposable entities. Their abuse is considered a social service now.

And men, the way they are, are in a great way responsible for this. They rarely challenge or question conventions, traditions, histrionics and stereotypes thrust upon them. They do not feel the need to fight for their rights - only a handful of them are doing though scores are getting victimized. They do not demand for their space in the society and accept things as offered to them.

To this effect, today I take the example of Skandagupta - the great emperor of India. His stepmother has him sent to Ujjain so that her son can be made the emperor. He obeys her. But then the Huns attack India under the leadership of Attila the Hun. The army of Skandagupta calls him back as they needed his expertise.
