Laura Andrassy, wife of Greg Norman was awarded 154 M alimony in divorce. In one more case, the wife was ordered a car in alimony. Such incidences are killing the institution of marriage since such aristocratically awarded alimonies are acting as a double edged sword.

Though alimony was originally designed to be a support sustenance for vagrant and destitute spouse in marriages, over-zealous efforts of misandry by feminists and unethical support to misandrous efforts of feminists by Corporates and Power Mongers have made it almost impossible for a man to be awarded alimony or escape from it.

Marriage is shown as a torture on women and divorce as their freedom, whereas it is projected as bliss for men and they are not allowed to get divorce from their spouses without paying hefty alimony.

All these factors combined contribute to the fact that women are looking for breaking marriages at small provocations or discomforts whereas men are tolerating torture in marriages fearing aristocratic alimonies being awarded by insensitive courts stripping men off their finances.

What was originally designed and supposed to be gender-neutral support sustenance to vagrant and destitute spouse on the dissolution of marital relationship has become a tax-free money earning business for disgruntled and irresponsible women who feign torture and get away with bounties awarded as alimonies by woman pampering systems while the man suffers from double jeopardy - carries the blame of false allegations as well as parts with his money.

Alimony has attained the dubious title of LIFETIME PARASITISM and this lifetime parasitism has already set the men in the West against marriage and they are refusing to marry, the same condition is going to descend very soon upon India as well, where women will be begging for husbands on National Highway and won't be able to get one.

Choice lays with the society and the government, to redefine and re-implement alimony as gender neutral support sustenance to vagrant and destitute spouse or continue with the concept of lifetime parasitism allowing alimony to be used as a dole lest it strangulates the pious institution of marriage at the altar of Women Pamperment.
