Men: Victims of Double Jeopardy PDF Print E-mail

In order to have a clearer understanding of the topic at hand, I will first present two cases in brief here,

Case 1: The crux is that she was from a well-to-do family and so could not take the newly fallen poverty life. So she killed her kids and self. And the brunt of the fallacy is that the children killer woman is being projected as a 'Depressed Woman'.

Case 2: The second case is news about a poor husband, who could not take his wife's cruelty anymore and committed suicide in just 2 months of marriage. And the reporter has so conveniently projected him as a 'Suspicious Husband'.

Above two cases, whether acceptable or not are the reality. And this is happening because the concept of men's rights is not gaining ground. Males are busy protecting the females around them while the females and their Pamperers are busy castrating the males around them. Men, when they are accused are assumed GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT and are subjected to pre-trial punishment by other men as well most of the times.

Females, on the other hand, even when they commit crimes, are viewed as victims and all possible justifications are sought for to ‘explain' the crime committed by the woman. Such differentiated similarities have led to an extreme amount of cornering in men who are now forming fringe groups like Save Indian Family Foundation.

When a woman victimizes a man, alleged abuse by the man is held responsible for the crime, while when a man is alleged to victimize a woman, then also alleged abuse comes into picture to explain the crime. So either way, it's the men who are to be blamed. There is an implicit assumption of criminality on part of the man and victimhood on part of the woman.

Such beliefs have given wholesale free license to women to commit crime while men are made to pay for crimes they did not commit but are assumed to have committed. So, in a nutshell, it's the men who have become victims of double jeopardy.

Still, if men do not realize the need to join men's rights, even God cannot save them as already there genes have started weakening and they are supposed to be extinct in the next 5 million years.

No wonder, why the Government should not institute a National Commission for Men and a Men's Welfare Ministry.

Sneak A Peek

Men’s Rights – Perspiration or Inspiration?

As I think about the today's theme - it reminds me of Thomas Edison, the man who invented the electric bulb. He had made a famous statement "Things are 99% perspiration, 1% inspiration"

Same applies to men's rights movement as well. It is a matter of constant awareness campaign and hitting at our opponents and proponents of male abuse. Contrary to popular belief, it is 3 times easier to abuse a male than a female because males have no support structure and male abuse is accepted by the society as social service.

Follow Yourself; Not Tradition

As I have repeatedly mentioned in my articles that cultures have deceived men, acting as vultures. Men have been used as the FREE ATM MACHINE, the UNPAID BODYGUARD, the de-facto PROTECTOR and PROVIDER, etc. by cultures and in the process have been reduced to disposable entities. Their abuse is considered a social service now.

And men, the way they are, are in a great way responsible for this. They rarely challenge or question conventions, traditions, histrionics and stereotypes thrust upon them. They do not feel the need to fight for their rights - only a handful of them are doing though scores are getting victimized. They do not demand for their space in the society and accept things as offered to them.

To this effect, today I take the example of Skandagupta - the great emperor of India. His stepmother has him sent to Ujjain so that her son can be made the emperor. He obeys her. But then the Huns attack India under the leadership of Attila the Hun. The army of Skandagupta calls him back as they needed his expertise.
