Once again my theme is based on a Bollywood flick, which inspired me with the theme of the current article. Here is a background of the film, Sanjay is a billionaire businessman who gets hooked to a small time model because of a misunderstanding and the rumor spreads fast. The rumored false affair with a billionaire helps boost the career of the model and she also starts enjoying the fanfare. Meanwhile, the news reaches the businessman who gets very angry and goes to confront the actress. But as he sees her, falls in love with her and is not able to tell her the reality, instead she misunderstands him to be an aspiring actor. Sanjay is also not able to tell her and instead becomes Sachin for her as it allows him to be close to her and know her. Slowly, Sachin alias Sanjay and Anita, the model, fall in love with each other. However, Sanjay does not reveal his identity as he likes to meet Anita as a common man only since that makes her happy. However, since he has a multi-billion business to run as well - about which Anita is not aware of - she expects him to be available 24X7 for her and Sanjay manages it as well. There's one more incident where Sanjay has to go for a business trip of 10 days for an international deal, however he has to lie to Anita that he has to go to his village. While one may argue that Sanjay was lying, however, it is pertinent to note here that his intention was noble and his love for Anita was pure. His lies made life simpler for them and Anita was very happy with him, moreover, he'd decided to reveal the truth to her after returning from the international business trip. However, it has to be noted here, how difficult would it have been for Sanjay to make himself available as a common man to Anita every time he met her. Park his car somewhere else and then go to meet her, but when he saw the sparkle in her eye, his day was made for him as he'd fallen in love with Anita at first sight. He exhibited what most men do and do not take caution before entering relationships the way women do. Most men are like that. They go overboard in doing things exhibit the "Just to keep her happy" syndrome, and in this process, also many a times they land into a lot of problems as well and then try to solve the problems on their own. However, sometimes they are not able to solve the problems and are blamed with poor communication and ultimately held responsible for their problems and are thus denied protection. Added to this, the negative projection of men in media and lack of any available communication channel to men since the age of 6, due to the emotional castration that men undergo, there is a very big onus on men to disprove the negative image otherwise. The psychological pressure built also acts a positive catalyst for the "Just to keep her happy" syndrome. If men are able to liberate themselves from this syndrome, it will liberate them from many other troubles as well. For in the process of "Just to keep her happy", men actually forget their own happiness and this actually brings in a substantial amount of erosion in relationships. Men need to train the society to accept them the way they are. Quote this article on your siteTo create link towards this article on your website, copy and paste the text below in your page.
