"Respect me, because I am a woman", "Don't you know how to talk to a woman", these are some common dialogues often thrashed on men for reasons unknown. Women often use these dialogues to victimize men or to divert issues and more often than not the man is found innocent. But still the trick to victimize men works.

The reason for that is very simple - over-propaganda of women's issues and under-propaganda of men's issues that has led to acceptance of men's issues as a way of life whereas fighting for women's issues a way of life as well. As a result any attempt to create awareness about men's issues not only draws flak but also attempts are made to invalidate the same.

First and foremost the attempt to create awareness of men's issues has to GENDER NEUTRAL, irrespective of the fact whether the same attempt made for women's issues was GENDER NEUTRAL or not. It should be clearly explainable that when an attempt is being made to create awareness of any particular gender facing problem, it cannot be GENDER NEUTRAL and just way the attempt to create awareness about women's issues was not questioned on GENDER NEUTRALNESS, similarly that for men's issues should be left unquestioned in order to achieve true GENDER EQUALITY.

Aah, GENDER EQUALITY - another buzzword making rounds these days in order to run the shop of selling women's rights and buying men's rights - should be applied in letter and spirit everywhere. When a human being is respected merely because of the gender, chances are quite high, that the Gender will become lazy and incompetent the way women are becoming due to the over-pamperment showered unto them in the name of Women Empowerment.

Because they know, they have de-facto respect and do not need to work for respect. They may, however, work because of their own choice or to kill time. But the same is not with men. Nothing is free in a man's world. There is no concept of FREE LUNCH in a man's world. The man has to work to gain respect.

First of all, I disagree with the idea, "Respect me because I am a woman" in principle because that itself tells that we consider women to be weak or incompetent and that's why we give them de-facto unearned or rather better put as undeserved respect. And when a man is not respected merely for the fact that he is a MAN why a woman should be respected merely for the fact that she is a woman?

Such gender based radical histrionics lead to societal chaos - the way it is happening currently - people are confused between the boundaries of Conservativeness and Liberalism, between Women Protection and Women Pamperment, between Punishment of Criminals and Extortion of Innocents.

The day the society learns value based respect and respects an individual for being a human and not just Woman will lead the foundation of a sane society - one that everyone thrives for. RESPECT HUMAN and NOT WOMAN or MAN.
