As explained in All Men are Innocent, the evolution of societies has happened in phases. The first phase existed prior to 3000 years; second phase continued from 3000 years from today till 300 years from today, third phase continued from 300 years from today till 30 years from today whilst the fourth one is going on. All the four stages have also been explained in brief there.
However, the transition of phases has been moving in exponential terms which mean that very soon the cognitive ability of the brain to process the speed will be surpassed. Also, the role of men has largely been the same all through - that of a protector and a provider whereas there have been significant change and improvement in the condition of women.
Women who were earlier confined to homes have broken the shackles imposed on them by The Conservatives - largely due to the efforts by feminists who held conservatives at hostage and bargained them for concessions for women. Some concessions include - freedom to be a home-maker or a career-woman, have multiple protection laws for the same alleged cause of action, hold men responsible for everything, use men against men et al.
Men, on the other hand, have been the victims of the ruthlessness of the conservatives since time immemorial who have imposed the difficult roles of a PROTECTOR and a PROVIDER unto them and at the same time denied protection to them. Also the PRIMARY FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY is still on men.
This is because, men are inherently logical, distinct and structural by design - a quality which helps them to construct and they have also constructed civilizations with these abilities. However, these qualities have not been left of much relevance today whence men are expected not only to the breadwinner of the family but also rear them.
Often abuse of men by women is passed unnoticed or is justified because of some action of the man and the abusive woman is hailed as bold. And women are largely successful in abusing men by dismantling their structures. For e.g. when the man is getting ready to go to office - he has a structure in mind that he will be going to office and accomplishing his tasks - but the woman will break the structure by telling him something for which he is either not prepared or is not anticipating.
Women do this because they know they are successful in dismantling a structure, men cannot do this because women are not structural; they are vague, unreasonable, demanding and unpredictable. And women know that dismantling the structure of the man hurts him and abusive women take advantage of this fact only and torture men.
However, society accepts this as a normal behavior and provides no relief to the man. Woman, on the other hand, has the luxury of portraying a non-existent structure as dismantled to exhibit abuse and castrate the man. Because the woman has no defined structure, she has the liberty to build an imaginary one, dismantle it at will and hold the man responsible for it. If men want such luxury, they will have to learn to "Dismantle the Structures".
